There are four types of shortcuts:
Parent Shortcuts access a component from within that component.
Global OP Shortcuts access a unique component from anywhere in TouchDesigner.
You can create Panel Shortcuts for any custom-built panel that you build with Panel Components.
Application Shortcuts are built-in to TouchDesigner's authoring interface, which can also be edited and customized.
Shortcut is TouchDesigner's term for hot key.
There are four types of shortcuts: Application Shortcuts that are built-in to TouchDesigner's authoring interface, Panel Shortcuts that you create for any custom built panels, Parent Shortcuts for accessing a component from within that component, and Global OP Shortcuts that access a unique component from anywhere in TouchDesigner.
