HD-SDI Input[edit]

SDI input can be brought into TouchDesigner through the Video Device In TOP. Native library support is available for Blackmagic Design, Datapath, Imaging Source and Allied Vision devices. Other devices require DirectShow(WDM) or Media Foundation support to work.

HD-SDI Output[edit]

SDI can be output from TouchDesigner through the Video Device Out TOP. Native library support is available for Blackmagic Design devices.

Nvidia HD-SDI Hardware Support[edit]

Nvidia HD-SDI is a TouchDesigner Pro only feature. This support works through the SDI TOP operators.

Using the NVIDIA HD-SDI Capture card and output card, TouchDesigner Pro can now deliver the common HD and SD SDI broadcast-formats from/to studio equipment. HD-SDI video input and output is handled using these TOPs: SDI In TOP, SDI Out TOP, and SDI Select TOP. The Audio SDI CHOP will also capture audio from a SDI input signal coming into any SDI In TOP.
