Palette:materialDesignIcons

Summary

The materialDesignIcons component allows for browsing and searching of the MaterialDesignIcons font. The currently included version contains over 6000 icons.

The UI has 3 elements:

The Tags dropdown menu which is a collection of categories the icons are grouped under. For example selecting Transportation + Flying will only show icons that are associated with this category, for example the airplane icon. The Search Term field allows for searching via keywords in a selected group and hence further refinement. For example searching for balloon will show any icon associated with that term.

Clicking on an icon will copy the character code (for example: chr(0xF001C)) into the copy buffer to be used in any text related operators as a expression. Alternatively, an icon can also be dragged onto the network pane to create a Text TOP with the icon already displayed.

A built-in panel in TouchDesigner that contains a library of components and media that can be dragged-dropped into a TouchDesigner network.
