Group

A Group in POPs and SOPs is a named subset of points or primitives. It is created with the Group POP or Group SOP. Numerous operations in POPs and SOPs (using a Group parameter) can be restricted to affect the points or primitives in selected groups, and not affect others.

A Operator Family that reads, creates and modifies 3D points, polygons, lines, particles, surfaces, spheres and meatballs. Particles and point clouds are now done primarily on the GPU using TOPs.
